What, How and When?

The All Ireland Cycle is a fun way to come together to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute and help fight a disease that has impacted so many of our lives and that of our families and friends.

The All Ireland Cycle Challenge began as an 8-day event 12 years ago, with people taking part from all over the world. We continue to be inspired by our all who have battled with this terrible disease, by the fundraising our cyclists have done in raising almost €1,000,000 and by the great work done by the research staff at the Lambe Institute NUI Galway.

Now it's your turn to join us and challenge your friends to see who can do the most km's or raise the most money. We will create a ‘LIVE’ All-Ireland Cycle leader board and you'll see each County's kilometre total grow every time a cyclist logs their distances. We also have leaderboards for both cycling and triathlon clubs so if you're a member of one of these clubs the KMs you cycle will help those clubs compete for All Ireland Glory.

Getting involved is as easy as 1-2-3!

Cycling over 100km in a 10-day period is regarded as a good challenge for most leisure cyclists. But we know of course that club cyclists might want a bigger challenge and we have set a target of 450km to improve your County’s chance of winning the All-Ireland Cycle!
Remember Every kilometre counts!!

Everyone from the leisure cyclist to the avid club cyclist can cover 100km in 10 days. It is challenging but attainable and rewarding. The 10 days also crosses two weekends to give every cyclist the chance of achieving your target whilst still gaining much needed recovery time between cycles
So you have Plenty of time to complete the challenge!
